<p>Relief International - Schools Online will be conducting an exchange to Tajikistan in the summer of 2008.  This program will bring students and teachers from the United States to Tajikistan to participate in a summer camp.  The camp will be themed on the use of technology in education and how it can be used to promote international exchange.   All interested teachers and students (particularly those who participate in Youth Connect Worldwide online activities) are welcome to apply.  RI-SOL will cover all costs associated with the program, including airfare, accommodation, and a daily allowance.  Contact Yasmine@ri.org with questions, applications can be downloaded below.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I am pleased to announce that Relief International is currently recruiting US high School students to participate in a three week international education and cultural exchange to Israel and the Palestinian territories for the summer of 2008. This program sends 4 US students and one teacher on a 3-week cultural and academic exchange for the summer 2008.</p>
<p>Four US students accompanied by 1 teacher will have the opportunity to explore the culture, traditions and the education system of Arab-Israeli students.</p>
<p>This program will involve an intensive Arabic language course, along with an opportunity to take day-trips to Bethlehem and Ramallah to enable US students to meet their counterparts with whom they have been communicating via the Youth Connect Worldwide forum.  Interested students can submit their applications, electronically or by mail, postmarked no later than March 14, 2008 to:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Relief International is recruiting US teachers for an exchange to Tajikistan to take place between May 20 and June 10, 2008. This program sends 4 US teachers for a 3-week Teacher Cultural and Academic Exchange to Tajikistan (early application submissions are encouraged). Teachers will have the opportunity to explore the culture and education system of Tajikistan, visit Internet Learning Centers (ILCs) throughout Tajikistan, give lessons on American culture and education, work on a research project to plan a collaborative activity, attend an international conference on Tajik Language and information technology, and participate in short home-stays. All expenses, including airfare and accommodation, are provided by Relief International and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State.</p>
