Relief International is recruiting US teachers for an exchange to Tajikistan to take place between May 20 and June 10, 2008. This program sends 4 US teachers for a 3-week Teacher Cultural and Academic Exchange to Tajikistan (early application submissions are encouraged). Teachers will have the opportunity to explore the culture and education system of Tajikistan, visit Internet Learning Centers (ILCs) throughout Tajikistan, give lessons on American culture and education, work on a research project to plan a collaborative activity, attend an international conference on Tajik Language and information technology, and participate in short home-stays. All expenses, including airfare and accommodation, are provided by Relief International and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State.
